Our Process

Predictable execution from first contact to final turnover.

Every Stronghold project follows a disciplined four-step workflow built around clear communication, on-site verification, and a clean handoff that lets downstream trades move without delay.

01

Step 01

Scope Review

Define the work before mobilization.

We start every engagement with a thorough scope review. You walk us through your project goals, site constraints, schedule requirements, and any coordination needs with other trades. We ask the right questions upfront so nothing gets discovered in the field at the wrong time.

  • Project goals and deliverables clarified
  • Schedule and phasing requirements confirmed
  • Coordination with GC, owner, or other trades established
  • Estimate and scope document issued

02

Step 02

Site Assessment

On-site verification before first cut.

Before any equipment arrives, we conduct an on-site assessment to verify soil conditions, access routes, grade benchmarks, and any field conditions that could affect execution. This step ensures that our mobilization plan is grounded in reality, not assumptions.

  • Soil conditions and compaction requirements reviewed
  • Equipment access and staging areas identified
  • Grade benchmarks and reference points confirmed
  • Utility locate and clearance coordinated

03

Step 03

Execution

Precision field work with active site management.

Our crews mobilize with the right equipment for the scope and a clear plan for each phase of work. Site management is active throughout — we track grade, manage spoils, coordinate with adjacent trades, and communicate progress to keep your project on schedule.

  • Experienced operators on properly sized equipment
  • Daily grade verification and quality checks
  • Spoil management and haul-off coordinated
  • Real-time communication with GC or owner

04

Step 04

Final Walkthrough

Clean turnover. No loose ends.

Before we demobilize, we walk the site with you to verify grade, drainage, compaction, and overall condition. The goal is a turnover that lets your downstream trades move immediately without rework, punch items, or grade corrections holding up the schedule.

  • Grade and drainage verified to spec
  • Compaction documentation provided where required
  • Site cleaned and access restored
  • Punch items resolved before final sign-off

Common Questions

What to expect when working with us.

How quickly can you mobilize?

Mobilization timelines depend on current project load and equipment availability. In most cases we can mobilize within one to two weeks of a signed scope. Contact us with your start date and we will confirm availability.

Do you work directly with homeowners or only GCs?

Both. We work with general contractors, developers, and individual homeowners. Our process is the same regardless — clear scope, site assessment, clean execution, and documented turnover.

What happens if site conditions differ from what was expected?

We communicate immediately. If the site assessment or field work reveals conditions that change scope, cost, or schedule, we document it and review it with you before proceeding. No surprises on the invoice.

Do you handle permitting and utility locates?

We coordinate utility locates as part of site assessment. Permitting responsibility depends on the project — we can advise on what is typically required and work alongside your team to ensure clearances are in place before work begins.
